My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Education from the IOE, University of London, with a specialisation in KS2. Since 2007, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of students across both the public and private sectors, including those preparing for competitive entrance exams, national assessments, and students requiring targeted support to close learning gaps. My experience spans various academic levels and abilities, and I pride myself on tailoring sessions to each student's unique learning style, helping them build both subject knowledge and self-confidence. I’ve supported learners from many different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and empathy are at the core of my teaching approach. Every session is focused, structured, and outcome-driven — whether the goal is long-term academic success or short-term exam preparation.

My Experience

Having worked at a number of Outstanding schools in Central London (Belleville, Allen Edwards, Thomas’ Clapham, Beormund), as well as 2 International Schools, for many years (Mozambique Spain) for 15 years, I have a wealth of experience as a Year 6 Class Teacher, successfully supporting pupils through their SATs and helping them prepare for Entrance Exams to many of London’s top secondary school, including: Alleyns, Dulwich College, Emanuel, Graveney, JAGS, KCS Wimbledon. Crucially, what my experience enables us to do in our sessions is very quickly pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of individual students and spend high quality on specific areas, setting work and levelling questions in a way that simultaneously builds their confidence and furthers their learning.came about and some of our future plans.
